Hello Win Column!

GO RANGERS!!!

"Hello Win Column" ~ Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 2!

I've had the title of this blog drafted for, oh about, 7 games... which is how long the Rangers losing streak lasted!

What does "Hello Win Column" mean?? I'm glad you asked... read on a bit more about the man who invented the phrase!
Mark Holtz
All you really need to know is after every Texas Rangers win... you can yell out... "Hello Win Column" - high five a random stranger - then sit in a bit of traffic while listening to the post-game on the radio.

Back to tonights game... I've ranted about our "bats" not getting going the past few games (bats - not going - means we're not hitting - with a bat - hints "bats need to get going" - we need to start hitting)

As if this losing streak wasn't random enough... tonight, Ian Kinsler, Elvis Andrus and Leonys Martin all hit home runs! These guys are the typical batters who get on base, but don't usually hit home runs! Either way... we got the W (Win), 7-1, and beat the Rays to stay in 2nd place in the race for the playoffs!

We pretty much need to win out to secure a legit spot going into the post-season! So keep cheering and supporting your team!

Derek Holland is "on the mound" tomorrow night! Funny dude, but pray he's in a "game on" mindset and gets it done!

~ I'm slowly introducing you into the world wide web of Sports Center... you are getting very sleepy... now watch this video clip...

POSTSEASON BASEBALL: Toronto Blue Jays vs. Texas Rangers ~ Baseball Etiquette ~ Dallas Cowboys Over-reaction Tuesday

GO RANGERS !!! ALDS PLAYOFFS - THIS THURSDAY It's official... we are playing the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS.  Dang it.  I can't stand the Blue Jays. They have trashy fans. No, literally, they throw trash on the field .  And Jose Bautista is a punk. No one needs your bat flippin' drama!  And we all remember this... Odor punching Bautista earlier this year. Watch . All the sports people are going to have a field day over this. I bet they wish they had given us the evening time slots now! Except that Toronto's TV ratings don't count, eh?  How we win... stay focused. Eliminate the drama. We beat them during the regular season. We can do it again. No hitting batters, no one getting ejected. We need our entire roster in the ALCS. We need to play Texas Ranger baseball. Period. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Games 1 and 2 are this Thursday at 3:30 PM and Friday at Noon in Arlington, TX. Games 3 and 4 are Sunday and Monday in Toronto. ...

Week 2: New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys ~ UNT beat Arkansas ~ Scooter Magruder

GO Cowboys!!! 0-1 (wins ~ losses) New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys ( away team ~ home team ) Sunday, September 16 @ 7:20 PM CST on NBC If you watched the game last week, where we lost to the Carolina Panthers, you have most likely decided to stop watching the rest of the season. It was a rough game. And it makes a lot of people think that first string players should get more reps during pre-season games so your Week 1 game isn't a scrimmage. So, during the " scrimmage ," that was a regular season game, Dak matched Cam Newton ( Carolina's QB ) in passing yards and was pretty close in accuracy. So where did Carolina win? Aside from wearing out our Defense... Newton had 13 carries for 58 rushing yards, allowing him to score one of their two TD's ( touchdowns ). Zeke ( our RB, running back ) had 15 carries for 69 rushing yards and one TD. Carolina out played us in the run game because they're not afraid to allow their QB to run. They converted more 1st ...

Week 12: Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots ~ Dallas Mavs Luka ~ Thanksgiving and Black Friday Prep

GO COWBOYS!!! 6-4 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots (away vs. home) Sunday, November 24th @ 3:25 PM CST This is the Super Bowl.  The team who has played in more Super Bowls than we'll ever see in a lifetime ( not really, but it feels like it ), is hosting the 6-4 Dallas Cowboys, in New England.  We'll take our small victory over another sub-par team last week vs. the Detroit Lions and their shockingly good back-up QB from the University of Florida, and raise you a legendary QB in Tom Brady.  Reality Check.  The moment I said, The Patriots, you thought... we're going to lose.  Yes. That is a highly probably scenario.  They have won six Super Bowl Championships, since 2001, and don't just talk about it every year like the Cowboys, they actually win it. Novel. Crazy. Something every team wishes they could do.  They win by beating you at your own game. The ultimate chess match. Good coaching, good QBing ( not ...
