HELLO WIN COLUMN!!! The Rangers take the Royals in Game 2 - Winning 3-1.

~ Matt Garza pitched his heart out! Props to him! (he was the pitcher for the Rangers)

There weren't any home runs or major plays to get this W, but the "top of our line-up" continues to get on base and get in "scoring position!" Maximizing on this is something we haven't done well with all season... hopefully, how they played yesterday is a good sign of what we will see down the stretch.

"top of our line-up" - you usually put guys that can get on base consistently in the first 3 slots in your batting order... this is so you can put your "clean-up" batters at 4 and 5 to hopefully hit those guys home!
"scoring position" - when you have a runner on 2nd or 3rd base and they are ready to run home at any moment!

The Rangers play Game 3 today in KC at 1:10 PM CST!!

POSTSEASON BASEBALL: Toronto Blue Jays vs. Texas Rangers ~ Baseball Etiquette ~ Dallas Cowboys Over-reaction Tuesday

GO RANGERS !!! ALDS PLAYOFFS - THIS THURSDAY It's official... we are playing the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS. Dang it. I can't stand the Blue Jays. They have trashy fans. No, literally, they throw trash on the field . And Jose Bautista is a punk. No one needs your bat flippin' drama! And we all remember this... Odor punching Bautista earlier this year. Watch . All the sports people are going to have a field day over this. I bet they wish they had given us the evening time slots now! Except that Toronto's TV ratings don't count, eh? How we win... stay focused. Eliminate the drama. We beat them during the regular season. We can do it again. No hitting batters, no one getting ejected. We need our entire roster in the ALCS. We need to play Texas Ranger baseball. Period. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Games 1 and 2 are this Thursday at 3:30 PM and Friday at Noon in Arlington, TX. Games 3 and 4 are Sunday and Monday in Toronto. ...

Over-reaction Monday Week 6

GO COWBOYS!!! The Cowboys are 3-3... ( Wins are always the first number - Losses are the 2nd number ) - we're batting .500 folks! We Beat the Redskins!!! 16-31 :) This was a great game!!! The Cowboys fought hard, and Tony Romo (our QB) played with a similar intensity as he did last week. ( The competition wasn't nearly as pressing, but he still got the job done! ) Good job Romo! He was also able to hit all of his WR's again! If the Offensive Line continues to give Romo time ( Cowboys fans have been whining about this for years ) - he should be able to produce a few more W's! ( "W" - Win ) ~ Dwayne Harris (WR) - this guy is fast! That's all you need to know. He plays on our Special Teams roster, and returns punts. He is always fast and can juke the defensive players very well. Scored a TD ( touchdown ) in this game and came close to scoring a second one! Props to Harris! Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day ~ Thankful for Sports ~ Thankful for Life

Dallas Cowboys Sunday, November 22 @ 3:25 PM CST Dallas Cowboys vs. Minnesota Vikings (home team is second) & Thanksgiving Day, November 26 @ 3:30 PM CST Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys (home team is second) Our record is 2-7. That's two wins, seven losses. Every other conference in the NFL has a team in the lead with at least 6 wins. The Eagles are leading the NFC East with a 3-5 record, while the Cowboys are tied with Washington in 3rd and 4th place. This should make the Thanksgiving day game interesting. Two 2-7 teams, prime time at 3:30 PM on Turkey Day!! Not quite the games we've watched in the past with this rivalry, but this will be the first year the Cowboys are playing The Washington Football Team, with no name. That's kind of cool.
