Week 17: Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys ~ LUKA is back and he's with Jordan ~ Bowl Season

GO COWBOYS!!! 7-8 (wins-losses) Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys (away vs. home) Sunday, December 29th @ 3:25 PM CST Mediocre is the word of the year, or decade, or two decades?  I said last week that we had 99 problems and Dak isn't one. I lied. We have 100 problems. Everyone is a problem. Ha! Kidding, kind of, but it's super tough being a fan.  I don't want to win this week.  Destroying the Rams in Week 15, then losing 17-9 to the EAGLES last week is too emotional.  Dak still has an injured shoulder and isn't practicing. He may be hurt more than we're all aware of. I respect this, but if you aren't the best guy to be in the pocket and can't make accurate passes, then toss the baton to Cooper Rush . We see teams win all of the time because they had to use their back-up QB, that their opponent didn't prepare for. Lord knows we could use the element of surprise right about now. Also, here's a message to every receiver on

Week 16: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles ~ Dallas Mavs ~ Merry Christmas

GO COWBOYS!!! 7-7 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles (away vs. home) Sunday, December 22nd @ 3:25 PM CST The Philadelphia Eagles.  Our nemesis.  It has come down to this. Both teams are 7-7 and have to win this week. This is our second Super Bowl of the year ( the first was when we played the Patriots and the Refs in Week 12, only losing that game by 4 points ).  The Cowboys DESTROYED the Los Angeles Rams last week, with a 21-44 victory, at home. And the Eagles beat the, ' ahem'  Redskins, 37-27. If the Cowboys win this week, we clinch the playoff spot for the NFC East, with an 8-7 record. If the Eagles win, it gives them something like a 73% chance to win the division. Each team has one more game after this. The Cowboys play the Redskins next week and the Eagles play the Giants. This just gets uglier and uglier.  I don't know very many people who settle for mediocrity in their personal lives, so it makes it difficult to settle for bein

Week 15: Los Angeles Rams vs. Jerry Jones ~ Luka Doncic and Lamar Jackson ~ Cinderella

GO MAVS!!! 17-6 (wins ~ losses) 1st in the Southwest Division 3rd in Western Conference 6th in the NBA Luka Doncic is the Lamar Jackson of the NBA. Both of these young men are playing out of their minds, breaking records that we never thought would be broken and creating new records that no one thought possible. Luka's stats ( according to multiple sources ) :  8 triple-doubles ( this season ), two of those over 40 points, 1st player in NBA history to do this before age 21 1st player in NBA history to record a triple-double outside of the US & Canada ( vs. the Detroit Pistons on December 12th in Mexico ) Averaging 30.4 PPG ( points per game ) Averaging 9.9 Rebounds  Averaging 9.2 Assists On February 28th, Luka turns 21 years old and he's almost averaging a triple-double on the reg. That's crazy. At age 16, he played for a Spanish professional team in the Euro League,  Real Madrid Balconcesto.  He led them to a Euro League title in 2018. La

Week 14: Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears ~ Luka and Mavs beat Lakers and LeBron ~ Rakuten and Honey

GO COWBOYS!!! 6-6 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears (away vs. home) Thursday, December 5th @ 7:20 PM CST One word.  Beasley.  Y'all, I forgot Cole Beasley went to the Buffalo Bills after he left the Cowboys. He destroyed us last week. I forgot how fast he is and how much fun it was to watch him play, when he was on our team. However, I  did not have fun watching him play last week, nor any part of the 26-15 Thanksgiving Day loss. Three questions the Cowboys are asking themselves this week...  1) What will our coaching options be, at the end of the season. Jerry verbally committed to Jason Garrett through the end of the year, but it's not looking good for Garrett in 2020.  2) CAN WE GET DAN BAILEY BACK? This was our kicker, that we got rid of for Brett Maher . Just because Bailey had an injury and wanted more money, I don't think we should have been so quick to get rid of him. We need better than 67.9% accuracy and we were spoiled with B
