COWBOYS 5-6 (wins-losses) Thursday, November 30th Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys ( home team is second ) 7:25 PM CST on NBC When you're sitting at 5-6, tied for second place in your division with the Redskins ( out of four teams ), and the Philadelphia Eagles are 10-1... you ask yourself... " Is it baseball season yet ?" Just kidding. But for real. We’ve lost our last three games. Common denominators in our losses... Ezekiel Elliott ( our "star" RB ) has not played, he's suspended for 3 more games. Sean Lee ( our true "star" Linebacker - Defense ) has been out with an injury ( for two of the three games ). We’ve scored less than 10 points per game. Our opponents have scored more than 28 points per game. Dak has thrown for less than 200 yards per game, and 5 interceptions total. We rushed for less than 112 yards in each game. So, what do we do against the Redskins this Thursday night?

COWBOYS 5-5 (wins-losses) Thursday, November 23rd - Thanksgiving Los Angeles Chargers vs. Dallas Cowboys ( home team is second ) 3:30 PM CST on CBS HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! We're batting .500 with two back to back losses. We lost to Atlanta 27-7, and we lost to Philadelphia 37-9. Those are hard losses. We didn’t even score a touchdown in last weeks loss to the Eagles. How did we only score 7 and 9 points? 7 = one TD ( touchdown ) and one EP ( extra point ) 9 = three FG ( field goals ) Breakdown of Football Math… 1 point = Extra Point ( kick after a touchdown ) 1 or 2 points = Safety ( 1. When the ball carrier is forced into his own end zone 2. The ball becomes dead in the end zone, but because of a forward pass, the defending team can score 3. COWBOYS 5-4   (wins-losses) Sunday, November 19th Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys  (home team is second) 7:30 PM CST on NBC The Cowboys lost because I was out of town. I will never leave again.  Well, a lot has changed this past week...  1. Elliott was officially suspended, he did not play in our loss to Atlanta last week, and we have five more weeks without him. He will make it back for the last two games of the season, his first game back will be on December 24th vs. the Seattle Seahawks. Football wise... I wish he had taken the hit at the beginning of the season, but I know it's a personal decision. 2. Jerry is making headlines, and not in a good way. Between controversial videos and his opposition of the NFL Commissioner, Rodger Goodell, we're getting a lot of negative press. This will be the shortest blog, ever.  I'm headed to NYC, and am not taking my laptop with me. #freedom #nyc COWBOYS 5-3   (wins-losses) Sunday, November 12th Dallas Cowboys vs. Atlanta Falcons  (home team is second) 3:25 PM CST on FOX The Cowboys are going to Atalanta on Sunday.  They are coming off three straight wins against the 49ers, Redskins and Chiefs. Can we beat the Falcons?  Matt Ryan and team? The guys who lost to Tom Brady in the Super Bowl last year?  Well, as much as I like Matt Ryan, and his team. I don't think they will beat the Cowboys.  Comparison... play by play...  Matt Ryan ( their QB ) has thrown for more yards (2,157 vs. 1,181), but Dak ( our QB ) has more TD passes (4 vs. 1).   Elliott ( our hopefully not suspended yet RB ) can out-run Freeman ( their RB ), any day.
