Week 13: Buffalo Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys ~ Dallas Mavs and Luka ~ Give Thanks

GO COWBOYS!!! 6-5 (wins-losses) Buffalo Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys (away vs. home) Thanksgiving Day, November 28th @ 3:30 PM CST We lost the Super Bowl vs. The Patriots last week.  There was rain and mud and more rain and Dak with no gloves on, then Dak with gloves on, then there's a Brady and a big New England Defense, but a fast Cowboys Defense... and a few refs, who were clearly pro Patriots. Oh, then there were the Dallas Cowboys Coaches.  So many missed opportunities to go for a touchdown or catch a punt return, which executing both flawlessly would have been essential to defeat the now 10-1 Patriots. Jerry Jones got extra angry after the game, like angry Elf kind of angry. Even though the refs admitted that they shouldn't have called our Offensive Line for " tripping ," because Bill Belichick ( Pats Head Coach ) tipped them off, shocker, but we still have a talented team of guys and shouldn't be sitting at 6-5. The Buffalo Bill are comi

Week 12: Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots ~ Dallas Mavs Luka ~ Thanksgiving and Black Friday Prep

GO COWBOYS!!! 6-4 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots (away vs. home) Sunday, November 24th @ 3:25 PM CST This is the Super Bowl.  The team who has played in more Super Bowls than we'll ever see in a lifetime ( not really, but it feels like it ), is hosting the 6-4 Dallas Cowboys, in New England.  We'll take our small victory over another sub-par team last week vs. the Detroit Lions and their shockingly good back-up QB from the University of Florida, and raise you a legendary QB in Tom Brady.  Reality Check.  The moment I said, The Patriots, you thought... we're going to lose.  Yes. That is a highly probably scenario.  They have won six Super Bowl Championships, since 2001, and don't just talk about it every year like the Cowboys, they actually win it. Novel. Crazy. Something every team wishes they could do.  They win by beating you at your own game. The ultimate chess match. Good coaching, good QBing ( not as good this year

Week 11: Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions ~ Dallas Mavs ~ Float Tanks

GO COWBOYS!!! 5-4 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions (away vs. home) Sunday, November 17th @ 12:00 PM CST We lost last week to the Minnesota Vikings. 28-24. We overcame a 14 point deficit, but we couldn't make up for it in the end.  Is it our Defense? Is it Zeke? Is it Garrett? Is it Jerry?  Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Dallas, we have a problem.  We have a QB, Dak Prescott, who has thrown for over 2,700 yards and 18 TD's, second in the league, and we are sitting at 5-4, tied with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles, y'all.  Zeke , where you at? There are seven other RB's ( running backs ) in the league who have rushed for more yards than you. Is it the play calling? Or is it because you're not being used the way you were last year? In his first 9 games in 2018, Zeke had 262 yards receiving vs. 192 this year, -26% and a receiving TD in 2018. He also had 831 rushing yards in 2018 vs. 788 yards rushing this year, -5%. We don't need to for

Week 10: Minnesota Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys ~ Dallas Mavs ~ LSU beat Bama

GO COWBOYS!!! 5-3 (wins-losses) Minnesota Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys (away vs. home) Sunday, November 10th @ 7:20 PM CST We won last week vs. the Giants. It wasn't pretty, but we'll take it.  The main thing people were super excited about was Sean Lee playing for Vander Esch and having a great game! ( and injury free ) Who is Sean Lee ? Our veteran Linebacker, #50, who has suffered from multiple injuries over the years and is now a mentor/back-up to the young Vander Esch, Smith, Awuzie and the entire LB (Linebacker) corp. And when his time came to play, he did! Last week he had 12 total tackles, 9 solo and 3 assisted. Think of him as the defensive version of Jason Witten.  What to expect this week vs. the Vikings...  Our Defense will represent, and Sean Lee will be at the helm. The Vikings QB is Kirk Cousins. He seems like a really nice guy and came under fire after the Vikings lost in Week 2 vs. the Packers and Week 4 vs. the Bears. So, he decided to hel

Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants ~ Dallas Mavs and Luka ~ Daylight Savings Time

GO COWBOYS!!! 4-3 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants (away vs. home) Monday, November 4th @ 7:15 PM CST Bye, bye, bye.  The Bye week is over.  And we wake-up to Week 9 in the NFL. What happened since we last played a game?  ~ Baker Mayfield is still yapping his mouth and acting foolish.  ~ We missed getting Adams from the Jets, but we did pick up Bennett from the Patriots. Not the Tight End, but the brother, who is a Defensive Tackle. ~ Vander Esch is still injured and is day-by-day. ~ The 49ers are still undefeated, with the Patriots old back-up QB as their starting QB. Annoying.  ~ The Patriots Defense has gotten me 185 points in Fantasy Football, I'll take it. ~ The Washington Nationals won the World Series!!! They started their season 19-31 (wins-losses) and made it all the way. The only team in any professional sport to win all 4 games on the road. Life Lesson: don't give up! Contracts to them!! Do you know who is still on the list
