Over-reaction Tuesday ~ Mavs Season Starts Tonight

GO COWBOYS!!! 6-2 WEEK 8 - Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys   WE LOST!!!! 20-17   Y'all... I don't think any of us thought we would go undefeated the rest of the season, but I didn't think we would lose to the Washington Redskins.  We'll keep this simple...  ~ Colt McCoy ( Redskins QB ) - University of Texas Fans are still happy this morning, even if they are Dallas Cowboys fans too. Loyalty to Alma Matter over Pro Team... just how it is .  ~ Tony Romo ( our QB ) - is undergoing an MRI on his back this morning . He got beat down all night by the Redskins D. They rushed, rushed and rushed some more. Somehow, they managed to knock our solid Offensive Line off their feet for all four quarters!  ~ Jason Garrett ( our Head Coach ) shouldn't have let Romo back in the game. He came back with less than a minute left, and it was not the valiant effort he hoped for from the offense. Jerry Jones shouldn't be on the sideline telling Garrett to put Ro

Dallas Cowboys Week 8 ~ Tory Burch, Vera Wang and Frank Sinatra

GO COWBOYS!!! 6-1 WEEK 8 - Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys   (remember, the second team is at HOME) Game Time: Monday, October 27 7:30 PM (CST)   The Dallas Cowboys, America's Football Team ( Packers, what?? ), has a winning record of 6-1. Yes, we have started the seasons with only 1 loss against San Francisco in our first game of the season.  What has changed since Game 1? Glad you asked...  ~ Tony Romo ( QB ) - has found his sea legs, miraculously strengthened his back and has taken Wednesday's off from physical practice. He is definitely playing his best year of football, ever. He has thrown for over 1700 yards, with a 69.2% completion rate and 14 TD's ( touchdowns ). He's not the #1 QB in the league, but he's doing what he needs to do for our team.  ~ DeMarco Murray ( RB ) - has found just about every gap our Offensive Line can create for him to run through. He stopped fumbling in the first quarter of games and has shown improvement in hi

Dallas Cowboys Week 7 ~ YOUR VOTE COUNTS

GO COWBOYS!!! 5-1 WEEK 7 - New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys   (remember, the second team is at HOME) Game Time: Sunday, Oct 19 - 3:25 PM (CST)   Okay, since I already wrote a love-fest post about our win last week against the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks ... this post will be fairly short.  ~ Tony Romo ( our QB ) and DeMarco Murray ( our RB ), sat out of practice Wednesday. Romo has done this all year, which seems to be his sabbatical. The way he is playing, he can take off every Wednesday for the rest of the season. You won't hear complaints from me. If this proves to be a much needed "day of rest" for our workhorse, Murray, fine by me!! Do what you have to do to stay healthy physically and mentally fellas!  There has been some negative news surrounding a certain 3rd string running back for the Cowboys, Joseph Randle . I don't want to give credit to negative media or circumstances, so all I am going to say is, get your head in the game. Not jus

Cowboys defeat Seahawks 30-23 ~ Y'all we're 5-1

GO COWBOYS!!! 5-1 THE DALLAS COWBOYS BEAT THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS!!!! 30-23 Y'all!!! We are tied with the San Diego Chargers for first in the LEAGUE!!!! Not just the NFC East... but the entire NFL!!! And we jumped ahead by defeating the Super Bowl Champions from last year! ( Philly has the chance to tie us by beating the Giants tonight. But we'll destroy Philly down the road! ) I couldn't wait until mid-week to blog about it. I'm so excited! Our Offensive line is not only giving Romo time to throw, but they're getting physical out there! And blocking correctly so DeMarco Murray can run through the line and break away down the field. I don't know if Emmitt ever had holes as big as Murray does?!?!  So, Romo isn't getting hit as much and he doesn't have to make poor throwing decisions with a run game like he now has! Win, win for Romo!! Keep praying his back holds up!! He took a nasty hit at the beginning of this game and we don't want him to

GO COWBOYS!!! 4-1 WEEK 6 - Dallas Cowboys vs Seattle Seahawks   (remember, the second team is at HOME) Game Time: Sunday, Oct 12 - 3:25 PM (CST)   So, I didn't get to watch the game live last week. I was on a girls trip and sacrificed live sports for my friends. Yes, they mean that much to me! Since I don't believe in recording live sports, I had to watch highlights on the internet. And I'm happy to say, the Cowboys did just as I wanted them to do. Finally, they're listening to me. We haven't been 4-1 since 2008. 4 wins. 1 loss. That's amazing for the Dallas Cowboys! 77% of teams that start 4-1 make the postseason!! PLAYOFFS!!! Against the Houston Texans, Romo threw for 324 yards, 2 TD's and one interception. Dude is on a roll and doesn't look like his back is hurting him at all! We can handle the one interception a game if he keeps throwing up the yards he is! And he was able to shut-down JJ Watt and company! Game on!  Dez Bryant and Te

Everything Dallas Cowboys Week 5

GO COWBOYS!!! WEEK 5 -  Houston Texans vs Dallas Cowboys  (remember, the second team is at HOME) Game Time: Sunday, Oct 5 - 12:00 PM (CST)   Did you watch the game last week??? Please tell me you did!!  If you're too young to know what it was like to cheer for the Dallas Cowboys in the early 90's... this is a glimmer of what that felt like. Glimmer. We've won 3 games in a row! Life-changing for Cowboys fans!! And now Saints fans know how we've felt for years!!  The Cowboys run ruled the Saints... 38-17! I love Drew Brees, but it was a hard game to watch!  Tony Romo, on the other hand, was so much more mobile and confident!! He has gotten better every game, which is hopeful for us as fans! Maybe he'll have a break-out year like Peyton Manning did last year after his neck surgery, which no one thought he would come back from? Either way, I think laying off his golf game and focusing on football is working out well for Romo! Props, Sir!  This week... v
