GO COWBOYS!!! 5-1 1st in the NFC EAST Sunday, October 30th Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys  (home team is second) 7:30 PM CST on NBC The Cowboys had a BYE last week. Which meant I had a BYE last week too!  ( Like how I worked that in )?  We are definitely NOT on BYE this week. Nope, we're allowing Eagles to come to Dallas and play us at Jerry World.  These aren't the same Eagles as they have been; they are actually decent this year, despite my disdain for them. Their record is 4-2. ( 1-2 Away, advantage Cowboys ~ This means the Eagles have won only one game at home and lost two on the road; therefore, they are better at home. This week, they're not at home, they are in our house and we will win ~ Cowboys are 2-1 at home ). So, what do we make of this game Sunday night?  Either way, if both teams show up, it's going to be a good game!  Both Offenses are able to throw the ball. Both QB's,  Carson Wentz and Dak Presc

GO COWBOYS!!! 4-1 1st in the NFC EAST Sunday, October 16th Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers  (home team is second) 3:25 PM CST on FOX So, last week we looked ahead... and now we're here...  We play the Green Bay Packers, in  Lambeau Field . The Cowboys are 4-1.  What? 4-1. Yup.  What is missing? ~ No Romo.  ~ No Dez.  ~ Broken O-line. ~ Underrated Defense. ~ Dan Bailey's back is sore ( he's our kicker who is 99% accurate from 0-62 yards ) What do we have going for us?  ~ An O-line ( Offensive Line, guys who protect the QB ) who is making it work and persevering through injuries!  ~ A Defense, who is not only getting their job done on the line, but with our secondary breaking up more plays this year than all of last season.They have also helped this offense stay balanced with an even amount of time on the field. Controlling the clock on both sides of the ball is a huge advantage in the game of football. Or any sport.

ALDS PLAYOFFS 0-2  (wins-losses) Sunday, October 9th Texas Rangers vs. Toronto Blue Jays  (home team is second) 6:30 PM CST on TBS I was at Game 1.  I watched Game 2 on TV. At work. During Octoberfest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We're going to keep this simple.  Game 3 is a MUST WIN. And 4. And 5.  It's a 5 game series, you have to win 3 games. Toronto won the first two games, with ease.  What would I have done differently?  Three things:  1. Made TBS give us better time slots.  Day games are stupid for Playoffs and I agree with Ben Rogers on the  Ben and Skin  Show that they should just know that people who want to watch will watch, same as NFL. Multiple games are played at the same time, then as you move

GO RANGERS !!! ALDS PLAYOFFS - THIS THURSDAY It's official... we are playing the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS.  Dang it.  I can't stand the Blue Jays. They have trashy fans. No, literally, they throw trash on the field .  And Jose Bautista is a punk. No one needs your bat flippin' drama!  And we all remember this... Odor punching Bautista earlier this year. Watch . All the sports people are going to have a field day over this. I bet they wish they had given us the evening time slots now! Except that Toronto's TV ratings don't count, eh?  How we win... stay focused. Eliminate the drama. We beat them during the regular season. We can do it again. No hitting batters, no one getting ejected. We need our entire roster in the ALCS. We need to play Texas Ranger baseball. Period. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Games 1 and 2 are this Thursday at 3:30 PM and Friday at Noon in Arlington, TX. Games 3 and 4 are Sunday and Monday in Toronto.   No,
