He sounds like an amazing man, and so many of his sports colleagues and players he covered think the same thing. Well, I love baseball, yes, but I love people more.  A beautiful woman, Lindsay Pugh, attends church with my parents in Rockwall, TX. My best friend and I met her on a trip to Kenya in 2013, where we traveled for two weeks to orphanages, slums, schools and churches. All to see hearts changed and tangibly meet the needs of others. GO RANGERS !!! 9-12 11th in the AL (American League) 3rd in the AL West It has been a while since we've talked... how are y'all doing?  You know, sometimes life feels like it is flying by. Like everything is moving so fast and yet a day feels like a week. But, in it all, I am thankful for my family and friends!!  The Rangers!!!  It has been a crazy start to the season... here are a few things you should know...  1) I got to go to my first Rangers game on April 21st to celebrate my Aunt Kay's 60th birthday!! The rain held off and we got to see fireworks!! My favorite! And... my cousins bought the Texas Snowballs. Brisket, covered with funnel cake batter, powdered sugar and bbq sauce. It is heavy, but it was good ( definitely not clean eating )! Section 141. The Rangers swept the Royals !! Monday, April 3rd is Opening Night at Globe Life Park!! 6:05 PM CST Cleveland Indians vs. Texas Rangers Yu Darvish  ( Rangers starting pitcher )  vs. Corey Kluber  ( Indians starting pitcher ) The Texas Rangers take on the Cleveland Indians. Mike Napoli's latest team to play for, before coming back to the Texas Rangers. And the team that made it to the World Series, only to lose to the Chicago Cubs. My friend and I went to the exhibition game Friday night. The Rangers played the Kansas City Royals. Cole Hamels pitched 6 shutout innings. Good to see after the way we ended the season last year. But I won't live in the past! Here's to 2017!!! Let's win it all!!!  And can I just say... being at the ballpark is the best escape.
