GO RANGERS!!! Record... 42-65  (W-L) - last place... in the entire American League! Depressing.  Game 2 vs. the New York Yankees. Derek Jeter's 2nd to last game in The Ballpark in Arlington ( "Globe Life Park" has yet to work its way into my vocabulary ) I was at the game tonight, for my birthday. We lost 12-11 .  So many things happened that drove us to score 11 runs and caused us to still lose this game. But, it was a GREAT game!  In the 6th Inning, Martinez gave up 7 runs to the Yankees! 7 RUNS! But this wasn't the clicker... it was in the top of the 8th, when Teixeira hit a home run off Neal Cotts ( one of our relief pitchers ). The Rangers were only down 10-8 at that point, but the nail driven into our hearts by Texieira was extra bitter since he did not leave a good impression when he played for the Rangers years ago! ( I'm not okay if you boo Hamilton, but I am okay if you boo Texieira. ) MVP Award... J.P. Arencibia...  This dude had 4 hits

GO RANGERS!!! Record... 38-57  (W-L) - we are 5th in the American League West. Adrian Beltre and Alex Rios are keeping us in the game!  You've heard me rant about the fact that we're plagued by injuries! And I don't like that Jon Daniels got rid of Nolan Ryan and bought Prince Fielder! We are a team of chemistry! He destroyed it, then a dark cloud hovered over our team.  Good news... it's the ALL-STAR break right now!! Tonight is the Home Run Derby (tune into ESPN RIGHT NOW) !!!! Jose Bautista is lighting it up!!  Best Home Run Derby EVER??? Josh Hamilton - 2008 - last year of the one and only Yankee Stadium!!! The house that Ruth built!
