Week 4: Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints ~ Farewell Globe Life Park ~ Rest

GO COWBOYS!!! 3-0 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints (away vs. home) Sunday, September 29th @ 7:20 PM CST Test #4 comes this Sunday. We've defeated the NY Giants, Washington Redskins, and the Miami Dolphins. People are saying those teams aren't good enough to give Dallas credit for the 3-0 start. A lot of people are either sold on our team, or think we're going to start a losing streak this week against the New Orleans and next week vs. the Packers. What does Peyton Manning think?  Watch this short clip from his analysis on Dak . He's on board.  Keys to the Game...  1. More  Randall Cobb . With  Gallup  out with knee surgery, Cobb will need to play more of a role, opposite Amari Cooper. The Saints have given up the 3rd most fantasy points to WR's and allowed 436 yards per game ( 301 of those yards from the passing game ). Throw the ball! Just not in the direction of Safety Vonn Bell or Marcus Williams. Williams already

Week 3: Dolphins vs. Cowboys, Rosen vs. Dak ~ Texas Rangers ~ Worth It

GO COWBOYS!!! 2-0 (wins-losses) Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys (away vs. home) Sunday, September 22nd @ 12:00 PM CST We are... 2-0 2-0 2-0 Get excited folks!! This is the year that we start out the season 2-0 and don't finish the season 8-8. It's a new day, and it's definitely a new season! We've taken down the NY Giants and the Washington Redskins.  Now we face the Miami Dolphins. The team who is intentionally losing every game this year to get the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.  Not only are they losing every game, they are putting their current players in danger. Football is a dangerous sport ( as you can tell ) and they are putting their guys on the field without a will to win. I'm not a fan of this approach, in the NFL especially. I know NBA teams do it often, and their players are not protected from injury, it just seems less likely and less dangerous. All that to say. The Cowboys should win, and win big.  Todd Archer from ES

Week 2: Cowboys vs. Redskins, Cobb and Cooper ~ Nick Solak ~ No Fear

GO COWBOYS!!! 1-0 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins (away vs. home) Sunday, September 15th @ 12:00 PM CST Watch out for #18 & #19! They took to the tag team method in last weeks victory over the New York Giants!  We acquired Randall Cobb (#18) from the Green Bay Packers in the off-season and it looks like it worked out for the Cowboys and not the Packers. How do I know this, you ask? Because Aaron Rogers is my fantasy QB and he only had one TD last week, to Jimmy Graham, his faithful TE ( tight end ). I should have drafted Dak. Mid-season last year, we acquired Amari Cooper (#19) from the Oakland Raiders. If you watch TV or check social media at all, you know that it worked out for the Cowboys and not for the Raiders, as far as WR's go. But that's the Patriot's problem now. And I may need to apologize for being so disgruntled last year when this trade happened. AC fits in our offense just fine. #ACtrumpsAB And if you're w

Rangers shutout Yankees ~ Cowboys need to Win without Zeke ~ Butter Lettuce

GO RANGERS!!! 68-71 (wins ~ losses) Since we're out of the race for the Postseason... why keep playing and trying to win?  1. Unlike the NFL, tanking your season doesn't impact draft picks.  2. You're trying out your team to see who you need to keep for next year, or whom to deal/trade. 3. Keep working your pitching rotation, a huge piece to a teams success, and the only way we will get back to a World Series. 4. These guys are paid to play 162 games.  5. Who doesn't like to try to win, even if you can't win it all?  And the Rangers did just that... WIN.  I was at the game Friday night, where we defeated the Seattle Mariners, thanks to Solak, Odor and Santana. Solak is one of the best hitters and base runners. He reminds me of Rusty Greer. Not many people are going to care about this kid, but he gets on base, which is still very important, despite the popularity of the home run or bust mentality.  David Murphy and family
