Alex Rios hit for the Cycle

GO RANGERS!!!

HELLO WIN COLUMN!!!! Rangers win 12-0!

Well... it's not a shock that the Rangers took the Astros in Game 1 of this 3 Game series. ("took" - is another term for "beat")

~ Derek Holland - our pitcher - well this game totally helped his ERA! He pitched a complete game, 112 pitches! (most pitchers only stay in until 100-115 pitches) He had his game face on... plus Houston is a horrible team... that always helps!

~ Alex Rios - He hit for the "Cycle" - only the 8th player in Texas Rangers History to do this!!! "Cycle" - this is when a player gets on every base after a hit in the same game. So... Rios hit and got a Single (1st base), Double (2nd base), Triple (3rd base) and a Home Run! (it does not have to be in this order - just completed in the same game)

We are still 1 1/2 games behind Cleveland to get the 2nd spot in the Playoffs. We have 6 games left... they're all Home Games!

Buy a ticket to one of the last games - wear Rangers colors and Don't Do The Wave!!! :)

Pitchers for the rest of the series...

SEPTEMBER 24, 7:05 PM CT
YU DARVISH - ERA 2.81

SEPTEMBER 25, 7:05 PM CT
MARTIN PEREZ - ERA 3.54

POSTSEASON BASEBALL: Toronto Blue Jays vs. Texas Rangers ~ Baseball Etiquette ~ Dallas Cowboys Over-reaction Tuesday

GO RANGERS !!! ALDS PLAYOFFS - THIS THURSDAY It's official... we are playing the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS.  Dang it.  I can't stand the Blue Jays. They have trashy fans. No, literally, they throw trash on the field .  And Jose Bautista is a punk. No one needs your bat flippin' drama!  And we all remember this... Odor punching Bautista earlier this year. Watch . All the sports people are going to have a field day over this. I bet they wish they had given us the evening time slots now! Except that Toronto's TV ratings don't count, eh?  How we win... stay focused. Eliminate the drama. We beat them during the regular season. We can do it again. No hitting batters, no one getting ejected. We need our entire roster in the ALCS. We need to play Texas Ranger baseball. Period. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Games 1 and 2 are this Thursday at 3:30 PM and Friday at Noon in Arlington, TX. Games 3 and 4 are Sunday and Monday in Toronto. ...

Week 2: New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys ~ UNT beat Arkansas ~ Scooter Magruder

GO Cowboys!!! 0-1 (wins ~ losses) New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys ( away team ~ home team ) Sunday, September 16 @ 7:20 PM CST on NBC If you watched the game last week, where we lost to the Carolina Panthers, you have most likely decided to stop watching the rest of the season. It was a rough game. And it makes a lot of people think that first string players should get more reps during pre-season games so your Week 1 game isn't a scrimmage. So, during the " scrimmage ," that was a regular season game, Dak matched Cam Newton ( Carolina's QB ) in passing yards and was pretty close in accuracy. So where did Carolina win? Aside from wearing out our Defense... Newton had 13 carries for 58 rushing yards, allowing him to score one of their two TD's ( touchdowns ). Zeke ( our RB, running back ) had 15 carries for 69 rushing yards and one TD. Carolina out played us in the run game because they're not afraid to allow their QB to run. They converted more 1st ...

Week 12: Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots ~ Dallas Mavs Luka ~ Thanksgiving and Black Friday Prep

GO COWBOYS!!! 6-4 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots (away vs. home) Sunday, November 24th @ 3:25 PM CST This is the Super Bowl.  The team who has played in more Super Bowls than we'll ever see in a lifetime ( not really, but it feels like it ), is hosting the 6-4 Dallas Cowboys, in New England.  We'll take our small victory over another sub-par team last week vs. the Detroit Lions and their shockingly good back-up QB from the University of Florida, and raise you a legendary QB in Tom Brady.  Reality Check.  The moment I said, The Patriots, you thought... we're going to lose.  Yes. That is a highly probably scenario.  They have won six Super Bowl Championships, since 2001, and don't just talk about it every year like the Cowboys, they actually win it. Novel. Crazy. Something every team wishes they could do.  They win by beating you at your own game. The ultimate chess match. Good coaching, good QBing ( not ...
