Y'all know I do not appreciate, or understand, the purpose of a concert in the middle of a football game.
Most concerts I attend, no one comes out after they play for an hour and a half and toss a ball around, then the singer comes back out for the other hour and a half of the show.
So why a half-time performance at the Super Bowl? Beats me.
Ratings? To get non-football watchers to watch the most important game of the year? To throw a party?
But, if you have to have a half-time show. It may as well be JT. His performance with Britney and Aerosmith back in 2004 was one of the only good half-time shows. Yes, Janet Jackson was there, but I forget that part. The rest of it was fun and semi-clean. Hopefully it's just fun this year! No wardrobe malfunctions.

OUT of the Wild Card
I will refrain from singing my annual rendition of "It's so hard, to say goodbye, to yesterday," by Boys II Men.
I am sad. I will attend my last Rangers game of the Season Friday night. I will hold my own moment of silence. Remember the good times with my family and friends. And wish that next year, or another year soon, will remind of me of the brief taste we got of victory in 2010 and 2011.
We can't live in the past, but it would be nice to WIN in the present.
The players feel this way more than the fans do. So, here's to next year!
Beltre, if you still love us, we'd love for you to stay!! It was one of the coolest things to see you hit 2,998, 2,999, and 3,000! Congratulations, Sir! You make watching baseball fun!
Here are the final games. If you can make it out, the weather is going to be gorgeous! It's finally FALL in Texas! Yaya!

Sunday, October 1st
Los Angeles Rams vs. Dallas Cowboys (home team is second)
12 PM (Noon) on FOX
I'm gonna start by saying... that was a great game!!
Can we give some props to Larry Fitzgerald?? This 34 year old man plays like he's 23! How does he run like that? Like a cheetah. Every play, there's Larry. I got up to get a drink from the fridge, oops, there's Larry with the ball again. Talk about consistent. He never complains (that I've heard), he never blames his QB, he runs his routes, and if the route doesn't work - he makes up a new one.
Stat time for Larry: 15 targets, 13 receptions, 149 yards receiving, and a TD (touchdown).
Y'all know I like percents... that's an 87% pass completion rating. Now that's a guy I want on my team! Even if it's just fantasy.
Do the Cowboys have anyone like Fitzy?? (I'm pretty sure he would hate that nickname, but that's what came to me).
Brice Butler? Terrance Williams?
You thought I was gonna say Dez. Nope. Dez will always win in size and in intimidation factor. Some will even let him win in the realm of, "he distracts the defenders so Butler can be open and catch the ball."
Ummm, did you see the dudes covering Butler? They were all over that guy, and then he goes leaping into the end zone for a TD!! Talk about it! With Lucky Whitehead out of the picture, and more reps with Dak, Butler will become more and more of a player as the weeks go on! Terrance Williams did well too! And our Team TD with Dez was entertaining! I'll give him credit, those long legs of his were driving hard, but it took a nudge from Travis Frederick to get the 6 (6 is how many points you get for a Touchdown).
Ezekiel Elliott, our RB (running back). When you have the perfect balance between the run and pass, your "star" Running Back can get away with rushing for 80 yards and a TD, quietly. We needed this from Zeke. The NFL filed to have his suspension reinstated ASAP. As of now, he is playing this Sunday. I'm staying out of his personal life.
Dak, our QB (Quarterback). Tip of the hat, Sir. You did a great job out there!! And don't worry, as much as people miss Romo; I think you're both in the best place this year!! He seems to really enjoy giving play by play on CBS. And you have found your groove with this Offense. Life always works out.
We play the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4.
1. They used to be the St. Louis Rams. Why they moved to LA, a city who doesn't need two football teams (Los Angeles Chargers - former San Diego Chargers), nor care to have them, is a mystery to a lot of football fans. There are plenty of cities that would love an NFL team! Try Oklahoma?? The Thunder isn't doing too bad for an NBA franchise that's only been in OKC since 2008. #westbrook
2. Jared Goff is the Rams QB. He is in his second year in the NFL, just like Dak Prescott, our QB (quarterback). Fun fact, Goff was taken as the #1 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Dak was taken in the 4th round, 135th pick, in the same draft. Now they both start in the NFL. A lot of guys wait 3, 4, 5 years until they get their big break. Goff showed his skills last week when they played 49ers. Yes, it was only the 49ers, but he held his own with a 78.6% pass completion rating and 3 TD's. The QB chess match is set for Sunday!
3. Defense. Who would have thought that a Dallas Cowboys Defensive End would win NFC Defensive Player of the Month Award?? Demarcus Lawrence. Please stand up! This guy is playing hard this year! He is a free agent after this season, but if that's what it takes to get 6.5 sacks in your first 3 games, it works for me. In his best season, 2015, he had 8 sacks on the QB for the entire year!! If Lawrence, Sean Lee, and Malik Collins can get through Jared Goff's Offensive line, it will be a rough day for the sophomore.
4. Rams Offensive players to watch out for, or to pick up in your fantasy football league (odds are they're not available), Sammy Watkins, WR (Wide Receiver), and Todd Gurley, RB (Running Back). Gurley has 241 rushing yards this season. Watkins has 194 receiving yards.
I pick the Boys to win. 34-14.
