Sports on Replay If you've finally come out of the shock of everything going on in the world, then you've realized we've gone Back to the Future with sports.  As I'm writing to you, from my amazing 700 sq. ft. apartment, I am watching Game 1 from the 2010 ALDS series. Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Rays. Cliff Lee is the starting pitcher and I'm getting tears in my eyes watching each of the guys come to the plate and Wash in the dugout. The antlers and the claw. Some of the best days in Texas Rangers baseball. We're winning 4-0 and I'm pretending like it's the first time I've seen it.  Caveat... I'm not a huge fan of replaying sports. It's why I still have cable. Everyone makes fun of me, but I'm not in a place where I fully trust my internet speed. Coronavirus & Sports Well, I never thought I'd write a blank sports email.  No scores, no updates, no clue what Sport Center will cover over the next 30 days? The news? NFL draft prospects? Or a lot of webcam interviews from players and coaches in their homes?  I am sure you're all aware of the government restrictions for the next 30 days. And I hope you're aware that you should be washing your hands, a lot, and staying home if you feel sick, in any way!!  So what's going on in the sports world?  Almost every major sporting event has been cancelled or postponed. GO MAVS!!! 33-22 (wins ~ losses) It's officially the All-Star break and we're sitting at 12th in the NBA. Luka is on Team LeBron. Y'all, check out this list of players and read the stats on Luka . I know he is a prodigy of some sort, but it's still crazy to believe he's 20 years old. It also lists out the new format for the game. Money will be given to a charity at the end of each period, etc. Luka will also play in the Friday night, Rising Stars game, U.S. vs. the World. All Freshman and Sophomores. GO MAVS!!! 29-19 (wins ~ losses) 1st in the Southwest Division 5th in Western Conference 11th in the NBA Luka Doncic has a sprained right ankle, again . The same ankle he sprained a few months ago. Tears. Why now? Why? He was selected to play in the NBA All-star game in two weeks. Not that I don't care about the regular season too, I do. But it's not every year we get a guy in the All-star game! And, he had the second most votes, 4.5M . LeBron was #1.  This is extra sad because Porzingis just came back a week ago and we were starting to hit our stride again. Taking down OKC was fun, but we've got to figure out a new way to win with Luka out for at least 6 games.  In other injury news... we also lost Dwight Powell to an Achilles injury.
