**stealing a base isn't literal - it is when a player runs from one base to another when the ball has NOT been hit by the batter... usually fast players are the best at timing the pitcher on this!** (if you've ever seen the movie "Hook" - there's a scene where the Pirates are playing baseball with Peter Banning's son, Jack... a Pirate steals second base and they shoot him... that would be literal!)

GO RANGERS !!! ALDS PLAYOFFS - THIS THURSDAY It's official... we are playing the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS. Dang it. I can't stand the Blue Jays. They have trashy fans. GO COWBOYS!!! 2-0 (wins - losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles - We won!!! Y'all. Everyone is injured. Yes, we won, but it was still as chaotic as it was against the Giants in Week 1. Injuries... to our Starters... Quarterback - Tony Romo is out with a collarbone fracture. For probably 8 weeks. He doesn't need surgery, which is a good thing!! He had this same injury in 2010, caused by the Giants. So, he needs to be a little more careful vs. the Eagles and Giants. Tight End - Jason Witten is probable for this week with two ankle sprains and a sprained knee. He has proven he is one of the toughest guys ... EVER. He will most likely play through the pain, but if he wants to take a rest vs. the Atlanta Falcons this week, I'm okay with that. Wide Receiver - Dez Bryant has a broken bone in his foot .
