Hello Win Column... FOOTBALL


GO RANGERS!!!

HELLO WIN COLUMN!!! The Rangers take the Royals in Game 2 - Winning 3-1. 

 ~ Matt Garza pitched his heart out! Props to him! (he was the pitcher for the Rangers)

 There weren't any home runs or major plays to get this W, but the "top of our line-up" continues to get on base and get in "scoring position!" Maximizing on this is something we haven't done well with all season... hopefully, how they played yesterday is a good sign of what we will see down the stretch. 

 "top of our line-up" - you usually put guys that can get on base consistently in the first 3 slots in your batting order... this is so you can put your "clean-up" batters at 4 and 5 to hopefully hit those guys home! 
"scoring position" - when you have a runner on 2nd or 3rd base and they are ready to run home at any moment!

 The Rangers play Game 3 today in KC at 1:10 PM CST!! 

 Alexi Ogando is pitching for the Rangers!!! (3.15 ERA)

Cheer Loudly - even if you're just yelling at your TV!

 Enjoy your family, friends and some football!!! :) Run errands another day! This is football we're talking about here! Life's too short not to enjoy it! And even if you live a long life... you should enjoy it :)

This is a crazy accomplishment. He's played over 1,300 games in his 19 year career with the Dallas Mavericks.  His commitment to this team and to our city has been life changing for many. Fundraising and giving grants to non-profits in our community and around the world that are making an impact in the lives of children and families in need.  Back in the day, the Mavs games were fun to watch with the " Three J's " - but we didn't win a lot, and we never thought we would make it to the playoffs consistently, much less to the NBA Finals. The Masters, in all its beauty ~ Texas Rangers ~ Dallas Mavs ~ Get Outside

The Masters The ultimate Bucket List item and one of the ones that exceeded my expectations. If you play golf, have a family member who makes you watch golf or take naps to golf, you understand that The Masters is the holy grail of golf tournaments. It is the only PGA tournament that is played in the same location every year, Augusta, Georgia.  Thanks to very dear friends of mine, I had the chance to walk through the azaleas, experience the serenity of Amen Corner and watch the players skip golf balls across the water at Hole 16. If they allowed people to sleep on the grass, I would have stayed forever.  We were there for two days of practice rounds, which is fun because the players are relaxed and cut up with one another. They cancelled the Par 3 Contest, which was sad, but just being there was the most wonderful feeling ever. You can't take phones in, so I even called my parents from the phones at Augusta, just to do so. We also didn't realize you could bring in a real camer...

Week 13: Dallas Cowboys vs. Minnesota Vikings ~ NFC East ~ NFL logo quiz

GO COWBOYS!!! 10-1 1st in the NFL 1st in the NFC EAST Thursday, December 1st 7:25 PM CST on NBC We've NEVER won 10 consecutive games. Ever.  We lost our first game of the season to the New York Giants, by one point. And oddly enough, they are still the ghost we're trying to run away from and secure our playoff spot with only 5 Regular Season games left.  Here is what the NFC East looks like going into Week 13...  The Minnesota Vikings... what should we fear?  The Vikings are in the NFC North Division. They currently trail the Detroit Lions for a spot in the playoffs. They have only won 1 of their last 5 games, which makes this Thursday night, showtime game, a must win for the Vikings!  4-1 at home, The Vikings meet the Cowboys who are 5-0 on the road.
