Rangers lose Game 1


GO RANGERS!!!

Rangers lose to the Kansas City Royals, 2-1. Their pitching was spectacular. Our pitching wasn't too bad, but yet again, we couldn't hit against Santana! (that was KC's pitcher)

 The Rangers are 7 games behind Oakland to win the Division. Clearly we probably won't catch up to them, but we can still get a Wild Card spot if they ever start winning consistently! 

Game 2 in KC is tomorrow night - Matt Garza is pitching for the Rangers! 

 Cheer Loudly! 

 GO COWBOYS!!!

12:00 PM - this Sunday - St. Louis Rams vs Dallas Cowboys.

The two teams who have already secured a spot in the Playoffs are: 
~ Boston Red Sox (we used to have Mike Napoli - he is a great Home Run hitter and now plays for Boston... his beard fits in perfectly there) 
~ LA Dodgers (We like their Manager - Don Mattingly - he used to play for the NY Yankees back in the day!)

GO RANGERS !!! ALDS PLAYOFFS - THIS THURSDAY It's official... we are playing the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS.  Dang it.  I can't stand the Blue Jays. They have trashy fans. No, literally, they throw trash on the field .  And Jose Bautista is a punk. No one needs your bat flippin' drama!  And we all remember this... Odor punching Bautista earlier this year. Watch . All the sports people are going to have a field day over this. I bet they wish they had given us the evening time slots now! No hitting batters, no one getting ejected. We need our entire roster in the ALCS. We need to play Texas Ranger baseball. Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day ~ Thankful for Sports ~ Thankful for Life

Dallas Cowboys Sunday, November 22 @ 3:25  PM CST Dallas Cowboys vs. Minnesota Vikings  (home team is second) & Thanksgiving Day, November 26 @ 3:30  PM CST Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys  (home team is second) Our record is 2-7. That's two wins, seven losses. Every other conference in the NFL has a team in the lead with at least 6 wins. The Eagles are leading the NFC East with a 3-5 record, while the Cowboys are tied with Washington in 3rd and 4th place. This should make the Thanksgiving day game interesting. Two 2-7 teams, prime time at 3:30 PM on Turkey Day!!  Not quite the games we've watched in the past with this rivalry, but this will be the first year the Cowboys are playing The Washington Football Team, with no name. That's kind of cool. And of course there will be a Salvation Army nod with Zeke.  That is if Zeke can run the ball. GO COWBOYS!!! 6-4 (wins-losses) Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots (away vs. home) Sunday, November 24th @ 3:25 PM CST This is the Super Bowl.  The team who has played in more Super Bowls than we'll ever see in a lifetime ( not really, but it feels like it ), is hosting the 6-4 Dallas Cowboys, in New England.  We'll take our small victory over another sub-par team last week vs. the Detroit Lions and their shockingly good back-up QB from the University of Florida, and raise you a legendary QB in Tom Brady.  Reality Check.  The moment I said, The Patriots, you thought... we're going to lose.  Yes. That is a highly probably scenario.  They have won six Super Bowl Championships, since 2001, and don't just talk about it every year like the Cowboys, they actually win it. Novel. Crazy.
