Alex Rios hit for the Cycle

HELLO WIN COLUMN!!!! Rangers win 12-0!

Well... it's not a shock that the Rangers took the Astros in Game 1 of this 3 Game series. ("took" - is another term for "beat")

~ Derek Holland - our pitcher - well this game totally helped his ERA! He pitched a complete game, 112 pitches! (most pitchers only stay in until 100-115 pitches) He had his game face on... plus Houston is a horrible team... that always helps!

~ Alex Rios - He hit for the "Cycle" - only the 8th player in Texas Rangers History to do this!!! "Cycle" - this is when a player gets on every base after a hit in the same game. So... Rios hit and got a Single (1st base), Double (2nd base), Triple (3rd base) and a Home Run! (it does not have to be in this order - just completed in the same game)

We are still 1 1/2 games behind Cleveland to get the 2nd spot in the Playoffs. We have 6 games left... they're all Home Games!

Buy a ticket to one of the last games - wear Rangers colors and Don't Do The Wave!!! :)

POSTSEASON BASEBALL: Toronto Blue Jays vs. Texas Rangers ~ Baseball Etiquette ~ Dallas Cowboys Over-reaction Tuesday

GO RANGERS !!! ALDS PLAYOFFS - THIS THURSDAY It's official... we are playing the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS. Dang it. I can't stand the Blue Jays. They have trashy fans. No, literally, they throw trash on the field . And Jose Bautista is a punk. No one needs your bat flippin' drama! And we all remember this... Odor punching Bautista earlier this year. Watch . All the sports people are going to have a field day over this. I bet they wish they had given us the evening time slots now! Except that Toronto's TV ratings don't count, eh? How we win... stay focused. Eliminate the drama. We beat them during the regular season. We can do it again. No hitting batters, no one getting ejected. We need our entire roster in the ALCS. Over-reaction Monday Week 6

GO COWBOYS!!! The Cowboys are 3-3... ( Wins are always the first number - Losses are the 2nd number ) - we're batting .500 folks! We Beat the Redskins!!! 16-31 :) This was a great game!!! The Cowboys fought hard, and Tony Romo (our QB) played with a similar intensity as he did last week. ( The competition wasn't nearly as pressing, but he still got the job done! ) Good job Romo! He was also able to hit all of his WR's again! If the Offensive Line continues to give Romo time ( Cowboys fans have been whining about this for years ) - he should be able to produce a few more W's! ( "W" - Win ) ~ Dwayne Harris (WR) - this guy is fast! That's all you need to know. He plays on our Special Teams roster, and returns punts. He is always fast and can juke the defensive players very well. Scored a TD ( touchdown ) in this game and came close to scoring a second one! Props to Harris! Dallas Cowboys Sunday, November 22 @ 3:25 PM CST Dallas Cowboys vs. Minnesota Vikings (home team is second) & Thanksgiving Day, November 26 @ 3:30 PM CST Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys (home team is second) Our record is 2-7. That's two wins, seven losses. Every other conference in the NFL has a team in the lead with at least 6 wins. The Eagles are leading the NFC East with a 3-5 record, while the Cowboys are tied with Washington in 3rd and 4th place. This should make the Thanksgiving day game interesting. Two 2-7 teams, prime time at 3:30 PM on Turkey Day!! Not quite the games we've watched in the past with this rivalry, but this will be the first year the Cowboys are playing The Washington Football Team, with no name. That's kind of cool.
