As long as Jerry makes money and people pay to go to the games, things will always be the way they are. If he isn't embarrassed yet, after the past 10 years, he will never stop doing what he does. There are many Owners in the history of sports that are known for an array of legacies. Our owner is simply a great marketer. He sells his team in pieces...
~ This year we have a new Defensive Coordinator, that will turn things around.
~ Don't worry, we locked up Romo for 6 years, that will save us.
~ We moved up in the Draft this year to get Morris Claiborne, the Cornerback from LSU who is going to rejuvenate our Secondary!
~ Dez Bryant just needs a mentor, a babysitter, and a full time security team... don't worry he's worth it. As he walks off the field with over a minute to play.
To the Match-up this week... We're playing the Redskins. Their record is 3-11. Our record is 7-7. Washington lost by 1 point to Atlanta last week. They, like our last two opponents are playing with a Back-Up QB. Kirk Cousins. Here's the deal with that... we've gotten whooped by the last two "Back-Up QB's" we've played. And... Washington is ranked higher than the Cowboys in EVERY category! Their record just doesn't show it.
~ Dallas Defense. We are so banged up it's not even funny! Just close your eyes when the Redskins Offense is on the field and our D is trying to stop them. They are predicted to throw over 400 yards passing. Makes me nauseous thinking about it! DEMARCUS WARE... where are you??? Rally your troops dude!
~ Dallas Offense. I am not the biggest Romo lover. I fully believe he is talented and an extremely gifted athlete, as well as a nice fella. I like having him on our team, but he has not ever been the type of QB that goes above and beyond. He takes his calls from the sideline. Nothing wrong with that, but you get into situations like last week and many 2 minute drills where he makes the "wrong" decision, as per Jason Garrett. I still put 90% of the blame on the Coaching/Ownership, but... if you had a QB like Peyton Manning, who coaches the Coaches... well, you see how well that works out! (Denver is 11-3, that's 11 Wins and 3 Losses!)
Bottom Line... If we win, we will see Jerry Jones' half smile and his piece-meal team limp into the playoffs. But we would seriously have to win against the Redskins this week and the Ea#le@ next week to make it into the playoffs, at 9-7. Not impossible, the Giants have done it before, but as you can all guess, we would get annihilated in the playoffs anyway.
Standings... We are 7-7. Once again, batting .500. I'm so over it. It's sad I don't even want to root for my own team. If we lose out, you can only hope Jerry finally gets embarrassed and will hire current coaches instead of trying to make a name for himself. Phil#y is 8-6. They play the Chicago Bears in P@illy. If you want the Cowboys to go to the Playoffs, cheer for the Bears. If you want the Cowboys to lose out, cheer for the Ea@l%s. The Giants are only 5-9... who knows maybe they will catch us?

~ Dallas is about to be 15-10. They're whoopin' up on Milwaukee right now!! I'm telling y'all - the only thing they need to get better at is rebounding! Marion is killing it, but we need to be even more physical with our upcoming schedule!

~ Oh, so I said we only have 1 QB that our Baseball Team drafted, but we actually have Jameis Winston as well! He recently said he wants to be better than Bo Jackson (dude I mentioned last time). P.S. Winston just won the Heisman Trophy. He is currently the QB for Florida State.

~ Oh how I love Winter Time! Actually, Fall is my favorite, Spring 2nd Favorite and so on. Surfing weather is fun too! But you can do that year round in Costa Rica! Good times! Sorry, back on track...
Winter Clothing: I have a pet peeve Since I work in fashion, and I know the ins and outs of the reasoning behind why/how clothing is made. I just wanted to take this time to ask you all to cut the X off the bottom flap on your wool coat.
If you have a wool coat, and there is a small string of thread holding together the slit in the back, that is for one purpose only... to keep it flat while it is shipped to the retailer. It is not so it can be worn that way. This is also true for Sport Coats, Pencil Skirts, Blazers, and so on. So, the next time you see a subtle X woven into your garment, please take a pair of scissors to it and free your flap... and the rest will follow!
