GO MAVS!!! We're getting Tyson Chandler back!!!! Do you even know who Tyson Chandler is?? He is a Center and Power Forward who helped the Dallas Mavericks win a Championship in 2011! ( Center & Power Forward is the guy who posts up in the paint and blocks shots! He is usually a tall guy who can dunk and do some finger-rolls! )  Many Mavs fans loved Chandler and were sad to see him go, but Mark Cuban traded him after the 2011 season because of the size of his contract and salary cap! ( It's always about money ) But who cares now... we have him back!!! Now that I've told you the good news... here is what/who are we giving up to get Chandler... Point Guard Jose Calderon and Center Samuel Dalembert, along with our golden child, Point Guard Shane Larkin, Wayne Ellington and both of our second round Draft Picks. GO RANGERS!!! Record... 32-34  (W-L) - we're 4th in the AL West, behind Oakland, the LA Angels, and Seattle.  I'd like to dub this year, the year of injuries. We can't catch a break! (Unless we quickly figure out how to clone Yu Darvish). Here's a quick screen shot of our current DL. ( Disabled List )  Despite our extensive list of injured players. We still have those guys at the top, who have been carrying our team! Alex Rios , nice looking young man, is batting .329 and has 32 RBI's. ( Runs Batted In, means he helped a dude score ).  As an offense, we are lacking in Home Runs, but we'll take good base hits and great base running any day! We used to have a guy on our team in the 90's, Juan Gonzales . He only swung for the fences ( tried to hit home runs ) and was successful a lot of times, but had a lot of strikeouts too. It worked out well that he played with a guy named, Rusty Greer , who was always on base and would become an RBI for Gonzal...

GO RANGERS!!! Record... 25-25  (W-L) - we're batting .500! And we're 3rd in the AL West, behind Oakland and the LA Angels.  We beat the Detroit Tigers 3-4 in the series this past week!!! :) Sadly enough, that is the team the Ian Kinsler is on ( he used to be our 2nd baseman ). He is missed, but he's doing better in Detroit, so good for him! ( just like most of the guys we got rid of, they're all playing better this year... Cruz , David Murphy , Craig Gentry ...I miss Murph's " walk up song " ) The Rangers Offense has finally figured it out!! ~ they know how to hit!  ~ they know how to win!  ~ they know how to back each other up!  ~ they know how to be aggressive! With our pitching rotation on the fritz, guys coming and going, our Offense needs to keep us motivated!  They just showed a scene from the clubhouse in Minnesota on FoxSports Southwest - the guys were cutting up, playing a game, having fun... this is good to see! GO RANGERS!!! Record... 20-21 (W-L) The Rangers are now batting .500. Not a good thing, especially with the way our offense has been hitting and our pitching rotation is collapsing.  Rangers fans have taken a few hits so far this season. Derek Holland having a freak accident that will keep him out until July. We waited a year to get Colby Lewis and Matt Harrison back. Now, Matty H. is out for the season. He has to have season ending spinal fusion surgery, that could end his career.  Martin Perez, our ACE... 19 young guys in the league right now have undergone season ending Tommy John surgery , which is what Martin will have soon. This is so sad, for Martin, and for us as fans. He is a fun kid to watch and was on fire the beginning of this season!! He will be missed! The Rangers are 3rd in the AL (American League), behind the Oakland A's and the Detroit Tigers.  ~ So, when we played Oakland in Oakland two weeks ago, we swept them ( remember - a sweep - when a team wins the entire series of games in a row, typically 3 or 4 games are in a series ). Then they came to Arlington and run-ruled us, and got their sweep! I'm not a fan of how poorly we pitch to the A's. It makes me nervous down the stretch, but it's early enough in the season that anything can happen! ( Yu Darvish better work on studying the A's players - as of now, they own him. )  ~ The Rangers need to focus on scoring some runs! Our guys in the field have got to start helping our pitchers out. April 23, 2014 - TEXAS SWEEP!!!  Mavs beat the San Antonio Spurs 113-92... Tied in the Playoffs 1-1 Rangers beat the Oakland Athletics 3-0... Pérez throws 2nd shutout Stars beat the Anaheim Ducks 4-2... Tied in the Playoffs 2-2 GO MAVS!!! PLAYOFFS: Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs... Tied 1-1 ~ The Spurs have a history of beating us... badly! ( Mavs had lost 10 games in a row to the Spurs; 5 consecutive Playoff Games. ) They beat everyone badly, you just don't hear about them on Sports Center. And they have the "Coach of the Year" in Greg Popovich ! Even with Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili ( aka: Giwoboly - he flops too much ) and Tony Parker... the Mavs railroaded them in Game 2!  ~ What the Mavs need to do to win out? Play 110%! Every guy on our team has an important role and when they execute like they did in Game 2 - we are unstoppable! The crazy thing was, Dirk wasn't even hitting his shots in the 4th Qtr! The Masters BUBBA WATSON WINS THE MASTERS!! (for the second time)  This was an amazing tournament! It always is. Bubba Watson , one of my favorite players, won in Bubba fashion . This guy has never had a golf lesson, which if you know anyone who plays golf, they've probably spent a lot of money trying to "perfect their swing." Bubba is all natural and inspiring to those of us who aren't conventional in golf or in life! ( Follow him on Twitter  @bubbawatson )  As for Jordan Spieth , he is a young kid from Dallas, TX, who attended Jesuit Prep School and learned to play golf at Brookhaven Country Club . At only 20 years old, he  finished tied for 2nd in his first major championship tournament, and is the youngest player to do so. Basically, this dude has a bright future and will be fun to watch in the years to come.
