Record... 38-57 (W-L) - we are 5th in the American League West. Adrian Beltre and Alex Rios are keeping us in the game! 

You've heard me rant about the fact that we're plagued by injuries! And I don't like that Jon Daniels got rid of Nolan Ryan and bought Prince Fielder! We are a team of chemistry! He destroyed it, then a dark cloud hovered over our team. 

 Good news... it's the ALL-STAR break right now!!

 Tonight is the Home Run Derby (tune into ESPN RIGHT NOW)!!!! Jose Bautista is lighting it up!! 

 Best Home Run Derby EVER??? Josh Hamilton - 2008 - last year of the one and only Yankee Stadium!!! The house that Ruth built! (Babe Ruth - google him!) 

 Watch this 10 minute video! You will understand why baseball is one of the greatest sports!!! And Hamilton has an amazing talent! (he used to be a Texas Ranger - until he said a few poor comments about our fans and now they act like Philly fans and boo him when he comes into town with the Angels - I don't approve of the booing!) 


The All-Star game is Tuesday Night, July 15, 7:00 PM on FOX. 

**This is Derek Jeter's last All-Star game!** They will most likely honor him, as he is the lead off batter for the American League and one of the greatest short-stops to ever play the game!

Here is a scary article... Do The Cowboys Have The Depth To Overcome Injuries. Are we looking forward to a Texas Rangers type season for the Cowboys? I hope not! 

 Training Camp for the Dallas Cowboys starts on July 23 in Oxnard, California. **Only 8 weeks until the Regular Season starts!!! And Fall arrives! Greatest time of the year!**

 What to watch for... A back-up QB battle. Well, not really a battle, no QB's on the Cowboys really battle. Our Defensive Line is a freshman class, so it should be interesting to see who starts where! We also have a new Offensive Coordinator and Play Caller, Scott Linehan. This is a big deal! We need a guy to call our Offensive Plays that make sense! Let's hope he's better than Calhoun and Garrett!

Well, looks like Mark Cuban (our Owner) is having fun with free agency! (I explained what a free agent is in my last post.) 

 He already signed Tyson Chandler, the come-back kid! Then he signed Chandler Parsons, a great defensive player from the Houston Rockets! So, I guess the only Chandler we're missing in Dallas is Chandler Bing!! 

 Still more transactions to be made... Miller? Greg Smith? I'll keep you posted.

 We've lost a few great players too... Shawn Marion, Vince Carter and Jose Calderon. You will be missed fellas!!

Week 12: Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys ~ Staubach's Final Game vs. Redskins ~ Be Thankful

GO COWBOYS!!! 9-1 1st in the NFL  (I've died and gone to Heaven) 1st in the NFC EAST Thursday, November 24th Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys  (home team is second) 3:30 PM CST on FOX Full of hope, I predicted last week that the Cowboys would beat the Ravens by 11 points. We won by 10.  Y'all, this is better than I could have ever hoped for... in my football fan life. We went up against the #1 Defense in the league, threw up 97 rushing yards from Zeke and 301 passing yards by Dak. What? Who are we? So much fun!  THANKSGIVING DAY RIVALRY...  Before you get all tired off Tryptophan ... make sure to  check out this link and read about the NFL history on Thanksgiving Day . Over-reaction Monday Week 14 ~ MAVS ~ Rangers

GO COWBOYS!!! Week 14 Matchup: Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears... Who Won? Da Bears! BIG! 28-45 No one was hibernating tonight at Soldier Field. The Bears came to play in some frigid temperatures! 7 degrees... feels like -4... dagger!  ~ McCown (Chicago's back-up QB) - after tonight - I'm more afraid of him then most active QB's in the league. He has lethal weapons in Brandon Marshall (WR), Alshon Jeffery (WR) and Matt Forte (RB). They scored on EVERY possession! (except an onside kick) 5 TD's!! They played so well - they were cocky enough to go for two points instead of going for the extra point after their TD at 33 pts. That is bold. In your face to the Cowboys Defense. Wow. This one hurts.  ~ Dallas. Our Offense had a run game going in the beginning. Chicago is horrible against the run, but we didn't even maximize on it! DeMarco Murray (our RB) had 145 yards and no TD's . Romo threw for 3 TD's to 3 different receivers! That's a cool stat... if...
