The Masters

This is one of the greatest events on earth. Well, maybe it's just one of the greenest events on earth. The grass at Augusta is practically fake, looking! Check out the course... Course Map - 18 Holes (wait - have I ever told you there are 18 holes in golf? Well, there are, and it's quite a bit longer than a putt-putt course)
Have you ever hit a golf ball? Or, if you live in Dallas, have you every played Top Golf? Please tell me you're not one of those girls who plays Top Golf in heels? I'm not gonna lie, I lose a little respect for those ladies. But then again, I'm the nerd who drags my entire set of clubs with me. Ha! Call it even.
So, if you've ever hit a golf ball, you should be able to watch the Final Round on Sunday! You will understand how difficult it is to hit a little white ball into a tiny hole! Once I started playing, I had a new found respect for the Pro Players. Especially the ones who keep their cool and make trick shots. I'm make trick shots, just not on purpose. :)

Bubba Watson is a phenomenal dude and player... follow him on Twitter @bubbawatson. He won The Masters in 2012 with this trick shot. Adam Scott won last year. He was the first Australian to win and isn't half bad to look at either.
Tiger Woods... oh, now you know a bit about golf. Everyone knows who Tiger Woods is, but did you know he's not playing in The Masters this year? His back is still injured, and probably his pride. He is one of the greatest players to ever play the game, but I'm okay watching the other guys win!
Golf is played throughout the year in multiple tournaments. Similar layout as Tennis, NASCAR, and bowling. Kidding, I have no clue how professional bowling works. Either way, this is one of the most important tournaments of the year. The Winner of The Master's gets a Green Jacket, becomes a life-time member of the Champions Club, and gets a lifetime exemption to play in The Masters. Many other perks come with this title, but those are the coolest ones!

3-3 (Wins - Losses)
If you made it to opening day, congratulations, except for the fact that is was a horrible loss. Starting the season with Tanner Schepper's wasn't the best idea. Come on JD! (JD is Jon Daniels - the Rangers General Manager. He's the dude calling the shots, especially since Nolan left for the Houston Astros, controversy.)
Yu Darvish pitched yesterday. Dude is legit! We knew he was good, but really? He threw his 500th career strike out! Watch! Over 75% of his pitches were strikes. I look at numbers most of the day, and that is an amazing stat! The goal is to build up a healthy supporting cast for Darvish. Many pitchers are injured right now, along with Profar (our prodigy second baseman) and catcher, Geovany Soto. So the guys that are healthy need to give it their all!
Colby Lewis should be back in the Rangers pitching rotation soon. Hoping this is a good thing!
They are currently playing against Boston tonight, in Fenway Park, my second favorite park. Tune into ESPN to watch! (and flip back and forth between KTVT for the NCAA Championship Game and ABC Family for The Blind Side.)
(It's still weird to see Napoli in a Red Sox uniform and to see Fielder in a Rangers uniform - nature of the game)

We had an amazing 4th quarter, well last few minutes of the game. Four straight offensive possessions with back-to-back 3 point shots! Most of our 3's came from our Guards, they were 10 of 13! Calderon, Carter and Ellis! Keep on keeping' on fellas!
Dirk - what can you say about this guy that hasn't been said? He is climbing the charts as he scores more and more points! Not only was he named the Western Conference Player of the Week last week, he moved up to the 10th spot on the All Time Scoring List! Air high-five Dirk! You're holding Dallas together!
The Mavs play the Utah Jazz, Tuesday night at 8:00 PM! Cheer loudly so they'll win! (the game is in Utah, so yell through your TV, it works, I promise)

Jerry Jones was on the ACM Awards show last night. He announced that the ACM Awards Show will be at his stadium in 2015.
He's the GM (General Manager) of the Dallas Cowboys. Do you know of another GM from any other NFL team that is gallivanting around promoting their stadiums? Me either. Why isn't he focused on Football? (Give us a REAL GM Jerry!!!)
