GO COWBOYS!!! 3-2 (wins-losses)
Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Jets (away vs. home)
Sunday, October 13th @ 3:25 PM CST
We started the season with three wins and now have back-to-back losses.
This is not fun. Not only did we lose to the Saints and the Packers, but the Eagles beat the Packers and then destroyed the Jets last week.
We CANNOT lose to the Jets! We may not win them all, but if we lose, we give up first place in our division to the Eagles. Not happening.
We're favored by a TD (6 points for the TD, and 1 extra point after the TD = 7 points). Does anyone feel favored? Did any of you Cowboys fans enjoy watching us get destroyed at home by the Packers? Only if Aaron Rogers was your Fantasy Football QB (JK - he only got me 9 points)! Their running back, the other Aaron (Jones), did the damage. That kid had 4 TD's (yes, four touchdowns) on 19 carries for 107 yards. Ugh. They were missing their top WR (Wide Receiver), and we couldn't stop their run game.
(tears) (cry face)
Moving on.
Is Jason Garrett's job in jeopardy? Is Dak still going to get paid? Is Kellen Moore stuck in his Boise State days?
I don't care. Figure it out. All of those guys are paid more than enough money to get the job done.
New York Jets... this Sunday... in NYC.
The name you'll know... Sam Darnold, the 2018 draft pick, from USC, by the NY Jets. Their starting QB, until he was diagnosed with mono this season. He participated in a handful of practices this past week and will be starting Sunday vs. the Cowboys. Luke Falk is their back-up QB, who has thrown zero TD's, 3 INT's and has a QBR of 62.4, 43rd in the league, will not be someone the Jets want to put back into the game. They will ride the Darnold train as much as they can Sunday. Falk needs more time to develop, he's only 24, which is two years older than Darnold.
Speaking of Darnold, he believes he's healed up and ready to play, but I can't help and imagine they will rely heavily on Le'Veon Bell, their running back (RB). Bell's only rushed for 206 yards this season, on 14 less carries than Zeke and no TD's. However, with the way that Green Bay ran all over our Defense, I'm sure they watched that tape and got a few pointers! It will be easier for our D to shut down Bell and the Jets Offense, but it won't be a cakewalk.
The Boys...
We have quite a few injuries... but a few guys are back. Gallup (our WR) needs to get back in the action. Cooper needs to get a couple of TD's this week. He had too many yards last week (226 yards on 11 receptions and one TD) to not have been more productive! Get the man the ball!
And Witten, that fumble wasn't your fault. We still love you #82!
Dak. Please don't throw any interceptions this week. That would be lovely, thank you!
Zeke. Are you ready to play? We missed you in training camp, so I hope you're pre-season is over?
Can we win? Of course. We could have won the past two games. Will we? Sadly, yes (to another losing team). The Jets just aren't that good, yet, and we will be able to capitalize. **If we don't win, I'm done with football**

GO COWBOYS!
Cowboys 21 ~ Jets 7
Random Info...
It's Texas vs. OU weekend in Dallas this weekend. (College Football)
This will actually be a good match-up this year! Both of these teams are in the Top 25. UT is ranked 11th and OU is ranked 6th.
Here's a breakdown of the game that will be played, Saturday, October 12th at 11 AM CST.
The one way that both sets of fans will win here, is if they also visit the State Fair of Texas, and get a Fletchers Corny Dog! Now, I had to go GF a few years ago (not thrilled), but I feel a lot better and eating more paleoish has it's advantages. However, a Fletchers Corny Dog means all rules are thrown out the window... once a year, it's totally worth it!
**Caution ~ Traffic will be horrible in Dallas and in surrounding cities.
1. Be patient while driving.
2. Please do NOT drink and drive.
3. Going faster on Dallas highways is actually safer.
4. Turn on your GPS before you put the car in drive.
5. Use of blinkers is highly encouraged.
6. NO texting and driving. Call people, it's good to hear a voice sometimes.
7. Yes, everything is a tollroad now. I don't know why. I'm sorry.
8. On and Exit ramps are not made for 20 mph speeds... we need you to hold at 45+mph to help us locals make it through the weekend.
Thank you!**
